While reading about the uncanny and the relationship between human and machine, I recognized another term that is probably interesting within this project: ‘cyborg’.
As Tom Simmons recommended to me to read some works of Donna Haraway, I remembered that she wrote a kind of ‘Cyborg Manifesto’. Although Haraway uses the metaphor of a cyborg in order to construct a postmodern feminism that moves beyond dualisms and moves beyond the limitations of traditional gender, feminism, and politics, I think there are some helpful and intelligent definitions for the term ‘cyborg’ in her manifesto.
