056 // MA Elective // Step 01 / Logo-Design
For my Elective Unit I am going to make a total redesign of the website for the exchange between the Norwich University College of the Arts and the Lithuanian Siauliai University. Shaun is in this case the client or let’s say the demanding customer… and he wants a new flash-based website.
As the current html-site is quite old, not up-to-date and a little bit confusing, I decided to start first of all with a new logo-design for the whole project. I think, it is not quite obvious why this project is called daxma. And so my first draft ideas for the design were based on the question: What does daxma mean?
And as I am a motion-designer, I started to create a little animated explanation for my thoughts about this question… Have a look:
