While looking for the story of the Tower of Babel (as a possible contextual background for my project), I came across the poetic or typographic artwork by John Furnival and his poem/drawing/… called “The Fall of the Tower of Babel”.
By this I found a book* with this piece and in addition to that I found more examples of Concrete Poetry that are interesting for not from a contextual point of view (at least right now), but from a visual one.
Here are some examples of type-patterns and structures including Furnival’s Babel-depiction.
