While looking for shapes and forms of the basement of the animated matrix, I remembered a Swiss graphic designer, Josef Müller-Brockmann. He was and still is recognised for his simple designs and his clean use of typography, notably Akzidens-Grotesk, shapes and colours which inspires many graphic designers in the 21st century… including me.
In the end, I didn’t use any of his shapes except for a logo-like design he created for a German elavator-company:
