Mutashi, the pseudonym of Natasha Durley-Boot, decided to research the environmental occurrences of the noughties and focused on looking at creatures that have been declared extinct over the last decade. During her research she noticed that a lot of new species have also been discovered. To create a balance between her images he settled on the idea of illustrating species that we have lost and three that we have gained in the noughties.
Interesting approach containing different little elements to create a larger character.
